sendEMailNotification and attachments

Does anyone know of a way to attach a file using the sendEMailNotification perm?

There is no support for attachments in the SendEMailNotification perm. You need to MIME-encode your attachment and send it as part of the message text.

If you take a closer look I bet you will find some COM (Ole) methods of Outlook or Internet Explorer which will do the conversion for you.

Well I gave up trying to format the body of the message properly and instead used a third party mail tool:

http://www.muquit.com/muquit/software/mailsend/mailsend.html

This did the trick for me.
